When are we flying

Where are we flying

Flying in the flatlands

Have you got questions about how to get started?

Is learning to fly hard?

If you can ride a bike. you can fly a hang glider it just has up and down too.

Where can i go to learn?

Choosing the right school is important, having a good club behind you will help get this right from the start

What equipment do i need?

The club loaned me everything, and helped me choose the right kit after training.

It costs less than you think to learn. Most schools let you pay per lesson, much like learning to drive a car.

Already a Pilot?

There are many benefits to becoming a member

As a new club member we can tow convert you, as part of your on going pilot development.

Site guides for visiting pilots.

We welcome visiting pilots,

To fly at our sites you must be a current BHPA Member, be a minimum of club pilot. Tow launching will require your glider to have suitable base bar wheels fitted, this is not an option.

A £10.00 day rate fee plus tows for visiting pilots, or why not join at £35.00 per year with tow launches at £2.00.

If you are not tow rated, but have 10hrs or more post CP, becoming a scfhgc club member you can complete your tow conversion with us, as we have a well structured  conversion process in place ,with experienced tow coaches and winchmen.

Before flying our sites please Contact us first to obtain a site brief. This ensures you fly safe, keep to the site rules and we keep our sites. Thank you.
